Afternoon Tea gets Hexham residents in a spin

Vallum Farm, near Hexham, Northumberland, are organising an afternoon of tea, dancing and music in support of St Oswald’s.

The event, held on Saturday 1st April, is called Teapots and Twirls and will combine live music and dancing in the outdoor venue Paddock Marquee, with afternoon tea and refreshments provided throughout. Entertainment will come in the form of North East Rock and Roll band, ‘The Rockafellas’ (pictured above), who’ll be performing classic songs throughout the afternoon from the 1950’s through to the present day including hits from Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and Eddie Cochran.

The team at Vallum Farm have been fantastic and have organised a superb afternoon which promises to be one of the most exciting on the fundraising calendar. I know from working closely with them that they’re hugely excited and for anyone who enjoys live music and dancing combined with delicious food and drink against a beautiful and scenic Northumbrian backdrop, then this event is a must!
