July is a really exciting month for us as we’re celebrating our 30th birthday!
Over 30 years ago, local lady Dorothy Jameson set out a vision for a North East hospice. She was part of a group from St George’s Church in Jesmond, and they gathered together an influential group of supporters to ‘kick off’ an appeal to raise vital funds for a Hospice.
Over the past three decades, St Oswald’s Hospice has seen many changes, but one thing which has always remained is the incredible support shown to us by our local community. People like you have enabled us to grow from an inpatient ward and day centre open just one day a week, to a service caring for over 2,000 adults, young people, children and their families each year.
