Throughout June 2016, St. Oswald’s Hospice is offering members of the public an opportunity to create or renew their will at a discounted rate of just £90 for an individual will and £125 for a pair of wills. The solicitor will then donate the entire fee to St. Oswald’s Hospice.
Make a Will month has ran for one month every year since 1998 and has increased grown each year, with more and more people taking advantage of the special offer.
With over 20 solicitors firms from across the region taking part in make a Will Month, the process to create or renew your will couldn’t be simpler. There are just 5 simple steps to getting involved:
Jennifer Bell, from David Auld Solicitors said: “David Auld & Co are pleased to offer their support to St Oswald’s Hospice for the third year in succession. We have visited the hospice and seen first-hand the dedication of the staff, the care, treatments and facilities offered to their patients, both adult and children, and the support offered to the families of those patients.
“St Oswald’s truly is an inspiring organisation whose aim is to provide compassionate care for those most in need of it. We are a long established firm of solicitors based in the Northumberland area. St Oswald’s are a local organisation to whom we are pleased to be able to offer long term support. We are delighted to take part in this annual scheme and hope that as many people as possible take advantage of Make a Will Month in order that the important work of St Oswald’s Hospice can long be continued.”
Sarah Bowes, a solicitor at Geoffrey Lurie Solicitors based at Regent Centre, Gosforth, Newcastle said “Geoffrey Lurie Solicitors are committed to contributing and giving back to our community. We are enthusiastic supporters of St Oswald’s Hospice and recognise the fantastic work the hospice does and the services and support provided to both patients and their families, many of whom are our Clients.
Having recently relocated to offices in Regent Centre, just around the corner from St Oswald’s, we now have an even stronger connection! We are extremely happy to participate in Make A Will Month again this year, as it not only raises vital funds for St Oswald’s but also encourages people to get a professionally drafted Will – something that is very often put off for many reasons, but can be invaluable in saving your loved ones a great deal of stress and expense”.
Geoffrey Lurie are also offering n extra offer for those taking part in Make a Will Month. For every Lasting Power of Attorney that they prepare, they will donate 10% of the total fee to the Hospice.
