St Oswald’s Hospice are looking for a caring and dedicated Care Support Worker to join their team. You will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to deliver care and provide a range of activities to meet the assessed needs of the Children & Young Adults who access our service and to support their families with that care. If you are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of Children and Young Adults with life-limiting illnesses then we would love to hear from you!

You will:

  • have a minimum of 18 months experience working with children/young adults with complex health needs in an education, health or social care setting.
  • a full driving licence is essential as the role involves driving a Hospice minibus.
  • effective communication skills and an ability to record information accurately & concisely.
  • have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
  • have flexibility to cover a range of shifts over a 24 hour / 7 day rota.

NHS pension may be transferable.
