the space is where anything can happen. From kilo sales to art exhibitions, live gigs to vinyl fairs, and social gatherings to support groups, our diverse event line-up has something for everyone.
Housed in our Ouseburn Retail Hub, our retail team have got a knack for finding the coolest vintage clothes, homeware, and furniture. We do the hunting, so you can enjoy the unique and exciting pieces we discover.
You can expect a series of pop-up retail events at the space. Whether it’s a kilo sale, vinyl fair, charity shop or art show, every item you buy supports St Oswald’s Hospice, helping us provide care and support to those who need it most.
It’s not just our retail team who’ll be running events at the space, but the wider Hospice too.
Expect events hosted by our Bereavement team, the Better Together Business Club, our Fundraising team and our Research team. We’re proud to bring you a breadth of quality, exciting and expert led events.

Best charity shop find?
My beautiful cherry red Chesterfield sofa, a total steal from our Kingston Park warehouse!
Favourite type of event?
I love a good rummage at a kilo sale, we have two a month at the space and I always find loads of great stuff.
Best charity shop find?
A few years ago I got a black vintage Gucci Tom Ford era shoulder bag from the 90s.
Favourite type of event?
A good old-fashioned Car Boot. It’s the getting up early, the bartering, the smells, and seeing toys and clothes for sale that you had growing up; it all feels very nostalgic.
Best charity shop find?
Probably my Newcastle brown ale jumper!

Definitely vinyl events.
