These diplomas, generously donated by Pitman Training, will be offered to 6 lucky participants following our Volunteer to Career pathway.
Designed to help volunteers develop essential skills, build confidence, and take the next step in their career journey, this initiative represents a significant opportunity for personal and professional growth.
Lesley Cuthbertson of Pitman Training said:
“St Oswald’s Hospice is such an important charitable organisation for the region, and it’s a privilege to support the training of its volunteers. We hope this marks the beginning of a long-term partnership.”
Our Volunteering Manager, Susan Freeman, added:
“These diplomas will make a huge difference to participants of the Volunteer to Career pathway. We’ve seen incredible outcomes in our clinical areas since launching the initiative in 2023, and now, thanks to Pitman Training’s generosity, we can expand the programme to other parts of the hospice!”
Details about the diplomas and application process will be shared soon.
In the meantime, you can learn more about our Volunteer to Career pathway here.
Together, let’s make 2025 a year of growth and opportunity for our incredible volunteers!
