Summer Stamps settles into its fab-ewe-lous home at 22 Law

Do you remember our fab-ewe-lous Shaun the Sheep flock of 2023? Well, one of the sculptures has finally settled into its forever home at 22 Law’s office in Whickham, but it wasn’t the smoothest of moves for poor Summer Stamps!

22 Law were the winners of Summer Stamps (painted by Chloe Kacperski) at the Shaun on the Tyne auction in October 2023. But it wasn’t long before this sheep was up to his mischievous ways… Upon arriving at the Whickham office, he didn’t fit into the window that the team had pane-stakingly reserved for him!

Andrew Daverson, Partner at 22 Law, explained:

“It’s taken about 12 months to get Summer Stamps into the window, as I’ve had to demolish half the office! The window space is just big enough for the actual sheep – but it looks great now! It’s been fun to see children pulling their parents over to have a look at him.”

Artist, Chloe, who is currently completing her Masters Degree in Stop Motion popped along to see Summer Stamps in his new home. She said:

“When I’m at events or applying for jobs, I can now say that I’ve done this project with Aardman and I’ve painted a Shaun the Sheep for St Oswald’s Hospice – it’s a really great talking point.

“I’d really recommended getting involved as an artist – it’s changed my life!”

It’s always baa-rilliant reflecting on the success of our trails!

If ewe loved this throwback, keep an eye out for an exciting announcement coming this spring…
