Blagdon Estate Open Gardens

In support of St Oswald's Hospice

Sunday 22nd June 2025 | 1pm - 4pm
Blagdon Hall, Seaton Burn, NE13 6DE

We are thrilled to be holding an Open Garden event at the beautiful, historic estate of Blagdon, Northumberland.

Blagdon Estate is a private family-run estate, only open a few times each year for the public to visit and enjoy. Lord and Lady Ridley are kindly allowing access to their private grounds, to help raise funds for St Oswald’s Hospice patients and families – and we would love for you to join us!

Take a stroll through the quarry garden, various follies, formal gardens and woodland walks, featuring designs by architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens.

  • Classic cars on display (weather permitting)
  • Tea, coffee and cakes for sale
  • Live music and stalls in the courtyard

Most of the venue is wheelchair accessible but some walking paths may not be suitable in the event of adverse weather. There is limited accessible parking. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on leads. You can arrive any time from 1pm but please note that last entry to the estate is 3:00pm, as the event will shut promptly at 4.00pm.

There is plenty of free parking available onsite. This will be within a neighbouring field but hard standing parking will be available next to Blagdon Hall for those with accessibility needs.

Tickets:

Tickets will be available on the day subject to availability, at £10 per adult, Under 16’s are free.
