From finance to fashion: Barclays Bank support us in Sunderland

Over the past few weeks, our Sunderland charity shop has received fantastic support from the team at Barclays Bank, based at 53 Fawcett Street.

One by one – and occasionally in pairs – staff members volunteered their time to help in the shop. 

From serving customers at the till and sorting through donations to dressing mannequins and creating eye-catching window displays, the team threw themselves into every task. Special thanks go to our Retail Volunteer Roger, who quickly became the resident till trainer! 

Shop Manager Charlie and Assistant Manager Lorna were thrilled with the help, saying the team were “absolutely fantastic” and asking, “could they come in every day?”
