The most thrilling charity challenge that allows you to free fall at speeds of 120-180mph!
What is it?
Ever fancied doing a skydive but never took the plunge? Choose from either a tandem skydive or a static-line parachute jump to complete your challenge for St Oswald’s.
What is involved?
Partnering with Skydive Academy at Peterlee Parachute Centre this year, St Oswald’s are able to offer you the chance to complete your Life List skydiving challenge whenever it suits your schedule – and the weather of course. The team of qualified and experienced instructors over at Skydive Academy will guide you throughout the experience to ensure that you get the most out of your skydive.
Anyone over the age of 16 with the appropriate levels of fitness can take part in the challenge. Prior to training, a completed Declaration of Fitness needs to be presented. More information regarding the requirements outlined in the British Parachute Association (BPA) forms can be found on the Skydive Academy website.
Training is given prior to the actual skydive taking place later that day, or the day after for the static-line parachute jump, subject to weather conditions.
