Dedicate a memory leaf in our Tribute Garden
St Oswald’s Tribute Tree, located within our peaceful and private gardens at the hospice, commemorates the lives of people whose families have chosen to open a Tribute Fund at St Oswald’s. The branches of the tree hold leaves engraved with the names of those remembered by all of us.
Tribute Funds at St Oswald’s Hospice
When you set up a fund, a copper leaf engraved with your loved one’s name will be hung in our Tribute Garden at St Oswald’s Hospice. It is a beautiful, private and peaceful space that you and your family can return to visit together whenever you wish.
Any donations by you, friends or family will be credited to your tribute fund so that you can see how much has been raised in total in your loved one’s name. All fundraising or support counts whether that is playing our lottery, running the Great North Run or holding an in memory event.
Every year you will be invited to our Tea around the Tree event at St Oswald’s where we come together to remember and celebrate the memories of all our loved ones.
The leaf will remain at St Oswald’s Hospice for as long as you wish. When you have decided your fundraising journey has come to an end you can leave your leaf in place or take it home to keep as a lasting memory.
