Our Free Wills services are available to support you in making or updating your Will at a time that’s convenient for you.
Without a will, you have no control over what will happen to your money, your home and your belongings when you die. A will can protect those closest to you.
Yet writing a Will is a job many of us put off. Over 60% of adults in the UK have no Will or one which needs updating. Let’s face it, it’s not something we relish, and it can seem confusing, time-consuming and a little scary. Whether you just need a simple Will which can be made online from the comfort of home or would prefer a face to face appointment, St Oswald’s Hospice works with professional Will writing companies to offer you some straightforward options. We can help get the job crossed off your list and give you peace of mind for the future.
We currently offer year-round free Wills thanks to our partnerships with Octopus Legacy and Accord where you can write your Will, for free, online, by telephone, video call or face to face. We’re excited to be working with a number of local, high street solicitors who have offered St Oswald’s Hospice supporters face to face appointments to make or update their Wills for free. This opportunity is available all year round and all you need to do is follow these 3 easy steps.
1 – Choose your solicitor
2 – Contact St Oswald’s Hospice on 0191 246 9123 or email supportercare@stoswaldsuk.org quoting ‘Free Wills’ to obtain your unique code
3 – Call to make your appointment with your chosen solicitor, quoting your unique code at the time of booking.
