Research project - Equitable Bereavement Care for All

Understanding the bereavement needs of people from ethnically diverse communities

Death is inevitable and can have profound effect on families, friends and communities.

But Bereavement Support, provided by the NHS, charities and other support organisations, can fall short for people from diverse ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds.

Project lead: Dr Sabrina Bajwah, NHS Consultant, Kings College Hospital, Dr Catriona Mayland, Consultant and Senior Lecturer in Palliative Medicine, University of Sheffield, Dr Jenny Birchall, Senior Research Associate, University of Bristol.
