Inside Our Newly Refurbished Charity Shop in Forest Hall

Last week we opened our new and improved charity shop in Forest Hall – and it’s already creating a buzz in the community!

The shop is unrecognisable with sleek charcoal fittings, vibrant teal interiors, and fun, eye-catching signage, thanks to popular illustrator, Lines Behind.

100% of the profits raised at our Forest Hall shop go directly towards supporting local people with life-limiting conditions. That’s why it was important to us to carry out essential maintenance in-store, ensuring the shop’s storage and sales space was maximised, while keeping it comfortable and functional for our dedicated staff, volunteers, and customers.

The refit has been a true team effort, with staff and volunteers rolling up their sleeves to clean, organise, and re-stock the shop in preparation for the opening. Thanks to everyone’s hard work, the shop managed to open three days ahead of schedule – go team!

Shop Manager Emma Pharoah, who has managed the Forest Hall shop for the past four years, said:

“We’re really excited about showing off our newly refurbished shop and to offer customers some amazing pre-loved stock at affordable prices. The ageing building was overdue a well-earned makeover to make it more accessible for our community. Pop along and see us, have a browse and a chat and maybe even grab a bargain!”

Shoppers can discover high quality and affordable clothes, accessories, toys and homeware. The team are also accepting donations again – if you’re a UK taxpayer please consider Gift Aiding your items to make them worth 25% more.

If you’re in Forest Hall soon, please do drop in to support the team and pick up some standout second-hand items!
