This role is based at our unit in Ouseburn, Byker.
St Oswald’s Hospice is a renowned hospice dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care to individuals and their families. Our mission is to provide specialist palliative and end of life care to adults, children and young people in the North East of England.
We are seeking two E-Commerce Assistants to contribute to fundraising of St. Oswald’s Hospice in order to achieve maximum profit and sales targets through our E-Commerce operations. You will contribute to the current growth of our eBay selling operations as well as working with management team to establish new selling platforms for both bought-in and donated goods. You will demonstrate strong E-Commerce expertise and a passion for charity retail.
You will work over Monday to Saturday although you must be flexible to work irregular hours as demanded by the requirements of the post.
You will:
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrable working experience of an e-commerce platform.
- Have experience of customer service in a retail environment.
- Have knowledge of on-line sales and be proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages.
