Why Work With Us?
St Oswald’s Hospice is a renowned hospice dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care to individuals and their families. Our mission is to provide specialist palliative and end of life care to adults, children and young people in the north east of England.
At St. Oswald’s, you’re more than just a team member – you are part of a family that’s dedicated to providing outstanding care to those in need. We operate 24 charity shops across the North East area from Sunderland to Morpeth, with all proceeds supporting our essential services. Our shops are at the heart of their communities, offering a welcoming environment for shoppers and donors alike. Our shops are closed over the Christmas period so we can all enjoy the break. This role requires a full, current driving licence and access to a car.
What You’ll Do:
- Boost Success: Achieve sales targets and maximise income across our shops.
- Inspire Teams: Train, motivate, and support shop managers, assistant managers, and volunteers to deliver their best.
- Enhance Experiences: Ensure our shops are welcoming, well-stocked, and a joy to visit.
- Drive Growth: Support strategic initiatives to expand and improve our retail presence.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Proven success in retail management with a passion for leading and mentoring teams.
- Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and IT abilities, alongside excellent customer service.
- Drive: A self-motivated individual ready to overcome challenges and deliver results.
- Values: Empathy and alignment with St. Oswald’s mission to support patients and their families.
