Can you help us give a Snowdog a (temporary) home!

We need your help! Our pack of Great North Snowdogs are so excited about touring the North East in September this year, but we need ideas for temporary homes for them. We’re looking for suggestions of locations across Tyne and Wear, from hidden gems and iconic favourites to up and coming areas to show off our remarkable region to its fullest.

We’re hoping to have over 50 large Snowdogs and 120 little Snowdog ‘litters’ displayed in groups of 10, so we need lots of possible locations to consider – which is where you come in! We’d love to hear where you would like to see a Snowdog.

When suggestion locations, please consider the following:

  • Sculptures will need to be displayed in locations which are accessible 7 days a week
  • Shopping centres and buildings etc may be considered providing opening times are appropriate
  • The trail will be based around the Tyne and Wear Metro route to ensure easy access via public transport, so locations should be within reasonable distance by foot or public transport from the station (exceptions may be considered)
  • Please be creative about places which can showcase our region to visitors

We look forward to hearing your ideas which need to be submitted by 29th January.  You can make your suggestions on Twitter @great_Snowdogs or post on our Facebook Page. Alternatively, email hello@greatnorthsnowdogs, call Lauren on 0191 285 0063 ext 250 or write to us at Great North Snowdogs, St Oswald's Hospice, Regent Avenue, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 1EE.

We can’t promise we will be able to use them all, but we look forward to hearing your pawsome ideas. Thank you!
