Associations of Professional Declutters & Organisers (APDO) are running its fifth annual National Organising Week (5th – 11th November 2018) and we are kicking off the de-cluttering season just in time for the mad rush before Christmas. National Organising Week marks the start of a new partnership between APDO member Cath Hindle and St Oswald’s Hospice. A professional de-cluttering expect, Cath Hindle runs her own business across the North East called ‘Clear the Clutter’ which aims to help people sort out their busy lives and make room for useful spaces in their homes and offices. Cath established Clear the Clutter after spending the last 20 years helping to declutter living and workspaces of individuals and businesses.
This new partnership between Cath and St Oswald’s aims to promote the need to be more organised and environmentally friendly whilst supporting the Hospice at the same time. Cath also works closely with bereaved families to sensitively clear houses.
“Clear the Clutter’s mission is to help people organise and simplify their lives. This usually means getting rid of things to create more space. Therefore a partnership with St Oswald’s is perfect as by donating my client’s no longer needed items to St Oswald’s, I can reassure them that their items are going to a good home, will generate money for an iconic North East charity and won’t end up in landfill. It’s a service I’m proud to offer and I hope the partnership will prompt more people who need some help or energy to tackle clutter in their homes to get in touch.”
