Learning a new skill whilst toning up, could that sound any better? We’re happy to have been chosen as regional charity by Turtle Tots Newcastle & Gateshead starting 2019 off swimmingly.
Turtle Tots offer swimming programmes nationwide, specialising in pre-natal and post-natal fitness, as well as baby and toddler classes. Turtle Tots Newcastle & Gateshead is the first of the franchise to come to the North East region, and have chosen St Oswald’s as their regional charity, where we will work together over the coming year.

We have chosen to support St Oswald’s Children’s Hospice as it’s an amazing charity supporting children and their families through really difficult times. As a family we have a connection with St Oswald’s Adult Hospice as they gave supportive end of life care to my Aunty Pauline.
As a family we continue to be thankful for the work St Oswald’s do and the kindness and empathy they provide for their patients and families. I also had the pleasure of volunteering for the Focus on Living Centre prior to becoming a nurse so I have first-hand experience of the amazing care they provide. I am extremely proud that Turtle Tots are supporting this wonderful charity.
As part of being chosen as regional charity, Turtle Tots Newcastle & Gateshead have introduced a special January deal, where £5 of each booking made in January will be donated to St Oswald’s Hospice.

We are thrilled to have been chosen as Turtle Tots regional charity. This is a great opportunity for parents and carers to get their baby confident in the water, which is such an important life skill to have. The link between Turtle Tots and St Oswald’s Children’s Hospice is strong as we like to promote learning and development especially using a mixture of sensory components. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Mel for choosing to support us helping us provide specialist care for babies, children and young people with life limiting conditions.
