North East Rugby League Champions support St Oswald's Hospice

An avid sportsman Michael has completed the GNR for the Hospice and now supports us through rugby alongside his team mates at Jarrow Vikings. The team are currently North East Rugby League Champions and recently defended their title at the match against Edinburgh Eagles and won! Their amazing new shirts must have brought some luck with a little St Oswald’s magic.

The Jarrow Vikings were looking to support new charities for the Ruby 22/23 season, and by wearing the logos proudly on their shirts raise the profile of local charitable causes. We are thrilled that Michael nominated St Oswald’s Hospice, shouting the loudest about our wonderful care given to patients and their families across the North East. Thanks to Michael and his team mates taking a vote St Oswald’s Hospice now sits in pride of place on the front of the new shirt.

Our huge thanks to Michael and all the team at Jarrow Vikings for supporting the Hospice and all that we do. Retaining their title of NE Rugby League Champions, the Jarrow Vikings will next compete in February 2023 at the Challenge Cup which will also be the national run out of their new kit.
