Personal health budgets

Personal health budgets

Personal health and social care budgets have been introduced by the government to give you more choice and control over the money spent on meeting your health, social care and wellbeing needs.

The aim of personal health budgets is to enable people with long term conditions and disabilities to have greater choice, flexibility and control over the health, social care and support they receive.

Personal health budgets are a way of helping people to be more involved in discussions and decisions about their care.

If you have a personal health budget and are interested in accessing St Oswald’s services, please contact Angela Egdell, Director of Care Services for an initial discussion.
