We offer a range of support services to bereaved individuals and families on a one-to-one basis and in groups.

Our one-to-one service is available onsite at the Hospice or over the phone.

Group sessions are usually held at St Oswald’s, where you have the chance to share feelings and experiences in a warm and welcoming setting – with others who understand.

Families are also invited to our special annual Memory Day.

Light up a Life: A place to remember

Light up a Life: A place to remember is somewhere where you can create a personal online tribute to keep a loved one close at heart all year long. Share favourite memories, treasured photos and keep their light shining brightly by inviting family, friends and colleagues to add to their personal tribute page. You don’t need a connection to St Oswald’s Hospice to set up a page, everyone is welcome to remember a loved one in this special way. It’s your page to add to however you like.
